The Greenfields Independent Day & Boarding School’s student and staff code of conduct is founded on The Way to Happiness. This is a non-religious, common-sense guide which sets out 21 moral precepts. It is a guide to living well and getting along with others.

Some of the precepts include: Take Care of Yourself, Honour and Help Your Parents, Set A Good Example, Seek To Live With The Truth, Safeguard And Improve Your Environment, Fulfil Your Obligations, Be Industrious, Be Competent and Respect The Religious Beliefs of Others.

At Greenfields, children learn about The Way to Happiness in weekly lessons, but more importantly, it is a guide to behaviour and attitudes in and around the school. It creates a harmonious and happy community.
