Greenfields has much to offer young adults through our Sixth Form school. Each student is valued and supported as an individual. Our core philosophy is that students enjoy a love of learning, that they can apply what they have learnt in life and that they have high aspirations and are well-rounded individuals who contribute to society. We offer a friendly, dynamic, and inspiring environment for learning.
Students enrol in Sixth Form from many secondary schools and from all over the world and soon make new friends in a happy and supportive environment.
Our Sixth Form enables us to offer a range of subjects at the A level. Our teachers are experienced and have the subject knowledge to inspire you in your chosen subjects. Sixth Form students attend their chosen subject classes which are timetabled. They have their own space where they can quietly work and do any needed research or prep for their upcoming lessons or exams. Teachers are on hand at any time during the school day to aid a student where needed.
For the last three years in a row, 100% of our Sixth Form Graduates received the University of their choice.
Sixth Form Entry Requirements
The basic entry to the Sixth Form is to have achieved five GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Mathematics. It is possible to re-sit English or Mathematics. For English as a Second Language students, the requirement is GCSE grades or equivalent examination grades in their own country. If they do not have any examination grades, they will have to take GCSE subjects first at Greenfields before doing A-Levels. This is a four-year programme.

Small Class Sizes
Greenfield’s Sixth Form offers very small class sizes enabling more one-to-one tuition in many cases. The student’s timetable is made up of class lessons and periods where they are required to motivate and self-study in the Sixth Form common room. This allows the students to explore their chosen subjects at their own pace.
