Uniform

Our students pride themselves on wearing the school uniform. It is smart yet comfortable and is worn from Reception class, all the way up to the end of Year 11.

In the new school year, we are making some small changes to the Greenfields uniform that we are sure all parents will welcome.

From now, the school will only be stocking the logoed items that must be purchased from the school. All other items can be purchased elsewhere. We have listed example shops the uniform items are available in. This is much more economical for parents, while still keeping the smart image that we want to present.

The school will continue to sell non-logoed uniform items whilst stocks last but they will not be restocked.

For boarders, parents can buy any needed items and have them shipped to the school, addressed to their child, during term time.

Parents should ensure the uniform they buy for their child fits the guidelines below. Items purchased are to be appropriate for a school. Short skirts or skinny trousers are not allowed. Please buy items listed as uniform as they will be the appropriate cut.

Nursery

Children in the nursery wear comfortable clothes. It is asked that the children bring indoor and outdoor shoes for comfort.

Infants & Juniors

These items are available from any sports shop such as Decathlon, JD Sports or Sports Direct and Amazon.

Additionally, please make sure any sports clothes are appropriate for a school environment. Shorts should be an appropriate length and made from good material so fully opaque when worn. Basketball, football or badminton shorts can be found online or in sports stores.

Senior School Girls:

Notice: Please make sure your daughter’s skirt is of an appropriate length and she is not rolling it up. It should reach just above the knee when standing.

Sixth Form

In the Sixth form, students should wear business casual.

Boys should wear a suit, slacks or smart chinos and blazer or jumper, with a shirt or polo. Smart shoes, boots, loafers or smart trainers. No jeans, items with large logos, hoodies or high top trainers.

Girls should wear tailored pants or skirts, blazers, structured tops, modest dresses, and smart-casual footwear like ankle boots, loafers, flats or low heels. No short skirts or dresses, low-cut tops, crop tops, jeans or hoodies.
