We are particularly proud of our GCSE Students who took exams in the 2024-25 academic year. They excelled themselves in many areas with 32% of results across the school landing in the highest grades (9-7).

A key measure for schools is the number of students obtaining GCSEs in both English and Maths, as this is compared nationally with other schools. Our results in 2025 were 80% at 4+ and 70% at 5+. This stacks up very well against the national results of 67% at Grade 4+ and 45% at Grade 5+.

Greenfields has always taken many international students who don’t sit GCSE English but rather take Common European Framework Exams. 100% of our international students gained passes in these exams in 2025. All of these students also gained a pass in GCSE mathematics as well.

Looking at individual subjects, we have seen a number of great results and improvements. Many subjects had 100% pass rates, including Art, Chemistry, English Language, History, Italian, Photography, Russian and Spanish. Other highlights include Biology at 4+ increased by 58%, Geography at 4+ increased by 53%, and Maths at 5+ increased by 40%.

Looking at our A level students, we see a similar picture, with 75% of the exams taken gaining a grade C or greater. Our A level students often go on to gain university or further education places of their choice, with recent destinations including SPJ University London, Alabama University, Oxford Brookes University, London City University, BIMM and the Cordon Bleu Chef School. Subjects studied are as diverse as Engineering, Business, Law, Acting, Computing and Art.
