When I first came to Greenfields, I was 13 years old. At that time, it was hard for me to get along with my classmates and other people as I was shy and did not have much knowledge of the English language. It was also my first time away from my family and country, as well as being in a boarding school. The Boarding Supervisors helped me a lot to get comfortable and feel at home.
Being a student at Greenfields has ensured that I have had a safe environment to study in. Study Technology played a major part in that. For those who don’t know, this technology is a discovery in the field of education. It has helped ensure that I truly understand the subjects that I’m studying. It has also helped me get into Russell Group University – specifically Queen Mary University, where I am going to study International Relationships. Study Technology is also a tool which I will use in future studies and work.
I would like to thank all the teachers who I’ve had during my time here. Thank you, Mr. Vlad, who taught me Physics and Economics. You have been encouraging me to study since Year 9 and made me believe that I can achieve anything. I would also like to thank Miss Candice, who taught me Business which I’ve never studied before. Thank you Mrs. Jones for supporting all of my ideas in art and photography and always believing in me. In addition, of course, Mrs. Bird who was my Drama teacher at first but then also my Class Tutor. You believed in me and gave me so much support that every time I was feeling down I would remember your words and it would help me.
I would also like to thank my other teachers: Miss Heather, Mrs. Maity, Miss Jo, Miss Agi, Miss Ruby, Miss Marie, Miss Franca and Mr. Smith. You’ve all played a part in making me who I am today. I am very grateful.
My experience here would not be the same if not for my friends. Thank you for always being here and supporting me, I’m very lucky to have met you. You made my time here so much better and made me always feel comforted.
Lastly, I would like to thank my family, especially my parents. Thank you for giving me such an incredible opportunity to be here and for supporting me no matter what.
My time in the school has come to an end and I’m very excited about the new chapter of my life, however, I will always remember what an incredible time I’ve had here. Thank You!

Joining Greenfields was a new experience and I did not know what to expect, especially when leaving my former friends from my old school. But joining this school was the greatest thing my parents could have done and for that, I am forever grateful.
Greenfields utilizes Study Technology which I can say has helped me progress in my studies far better than I could ever have hoped for and I want to thank Greenfields so much for the technology they have given me, transforming me into a better student.
The memories I have made at this school are some of the greatest memories of my life and to be able to enjoy with the people I care about makes them so much better.
At this school, I view everyone as my family, and this school has given me countless friends who I am going to cherish forever. I’m thankful for all of the wonderful people in this school. But now it’s time to thank the teachers.
Ms. Franca, you have allowed me to learn from my mistakes and become a better person and for that, I thank you so much.
Miss Candice, you have taught me English and Business and for those subjects, I’m so sure that I could have not got a better teacher than you to teach them. You have helped me in ways that I could not imagine, for that Miss Candice you have made my time in this school perfect, and for that, I will always thank and cherish you.
Miss Bird, I want to thank you for always being there for me and being someone I could always go to in this school. You have taught me Drama – changing it from something that I thought of as quite a strange subject, if I am being honest, to a subject I have a passion for and enjoy more than anything in this world. Seeing your passion for drama and the way you taught drama brought out a love for the subject that I never knew I had.
Realistically, I could thank all the teachers in the school as they have all done a fantastic job keeping the school running and making this school the fantastic place it is.
Finally, I would like to thank my family for everything they’ve done for me and I love them so much.
I have been accepted into 3 drama schools, LAMDA, ArtsEd and Central but I have also been accepted into Greenwich and Ravensbourne University. Being able to be at this school has granted me these wonderful opportunities and thank you to everyone at Greenfields for allowing me to have this amazing experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better school.

I joined Greenfields School at the age of 14 in 2017. I joined as an English as a Second Language student. After graduating there, I continued my education in Year 9.
When I first joined I had no idea what Study Technology was. I started with the most basic course “Learning How to Learn” which gave me a basic idea about what Study Technology is. I did the rest of the courses after that. It helped me through studying and understanding things within the school and outside, and I am very grateful to Greenfields for introducing study tech to me. I will use it in the future when learning about something.
Over time I made many friends at Greenfields and among them, I found a handful of people who I would trust with my life. Also, the most important thing I have made are countless memories in this place that cannot be forgotten no matter what – or can’t be replicated.
I would like to thank all of my teachers: Mrs. Bird, my class tutor for the past two years, and Miss Candice, who has been my Business teacher for the past 4 years. Mr. Vlad taught me Physics, Chemistry sometimes, Geography and Economics (he is a multi-talented person I must say). Miss Jo, who taught me Geography and lastly, Mr. Dominic Douglas who was my sports teacher.
I would also like to thank Miss Franca.
This day wouldn’t have been possible without my family. I would like to thank my parents, my uncle and aunt, my brother-in-law and lastly my sister, Priya. Thank you so much for your support.

I remember my first day here, sitting down in Mr. Smith’s office with my parents. I was coming here from my home country, Spain, for one year only. One year, I kept repeating to myself. Little did I know, I would end up finding a new place to call home, and a new family. Because this is truly what Greenfields feels like, a big, and loving family. This isn’t like any other school.
Study Technology has helped me get through all of my studies and learning. Not just memorizing pages. It has given me the keys to studying for anything I ever wish to. Study technology has made me realise that struggling is okay because it has taught me all the tools to get through the barriers to study.
Miss Heather, thank you for making Maths fun and for all your patience. Miss Ruby, Miss Marie, and Miss Anita thank you for being the best English teachers. Mrs. Ellenberger, thank you for your Spanish lessons – full of passion and love. Mr. Vlad, I know I have not been the easiest student but thank you for always pushing me harder. Miss Candice, you have made Business my favourite subject, with the most fun and interesting lessons. Thank you for your great advice and for being a friend when I needed it. Mrs. Bird, I have never met someone with as much patience as you. I wouldn’t be standing here right now if it wasn’t for you. Miss Aurelie, thank you for being my second mum in boarding. Miss Franca and Miss Charlotte thank you for helping me make better decisions in life and leading me the right way.
To my classmates, thank you for being my best friends and for being there in the best and worst times. I will miss every single one of you. Mum and Dad, thank you for giving me this amazing opportunity and supporting me all the way through.
To all my teachers, thank you for teaching me the most important lesson, to never give up, just as you never gave up on me.
I leave this place as a new person. Rewarded with maturity, motivation, and unique experiences. I look forward to my next step, a gap year for travelling and new adventures. And to return here to study International Business in London.
A piece of my heart will remain here, thank you everybody.

I joined Greenfields in Year 10. Although it has only been 2 years, those were enough to provide me with an unforgettable lifetime experience and I will forever be grateful for the amazing people I’ve met throughout my journey at this school. While probably unaware of it, they have made my experience here one that I would not trade for the world and that has branded me to become the person I am now and that I will be.
When I joined, I honestly was uneducated on what Study Technology is and its principles. However, it has allowed me to find the reason for my academic confusion and taught me how to surpass it.
Greenfields has provided me with the independence to grow as a person and to identify my strengths and failures, making me ready to go into the real world.
The main people that I owe gratitude to for this are my teachers.
I would like to thank my Tutor, Business and English Literature teacher, Miss Candice, for introducing me to my now favourite subject. And for showing me what it feels like to belong, and for believing in me. Miss Candice has supported me and guided me through my studies and life in general, always ready to go above and beyond to ensure that I was not missing words and to perform to the best of my abilities. You were the mentor who not only taught me lessons but also nourished our souls with kindness and wisdom. And for that, thank you for everything.
To Miss Heather, my Maths teacher, the passion for your work and Maths is contagious! It is with real pleasure that I have come to attend your classes this year.
Miss Maity, thank you for being a truly exceptional teacher. Your passion for teaching and your dedication to your students shows in everything you do. It was a pleasure to be in your class this year!
Miss Aurélie, for being the best boarding supervisor anyone could ask for and for being present for me as a parental figure, to guide and support me throughout my journey here.
Finally, I want to thank my parents, for providing me with this unique opportunity to study at a school like Greenfields and for supporting me as much as they could even at a distance. I do not take it for granted and I hope I have made you proud.

I started here when I was 2 years old, and have been at Greenfields for the last 14 years. When I started I was in the Mother and Toddler group, where I met some of my best friends.
I am now graduating from Year 11. What makes Greenfields stand out is that all the friends you meet here are family. Everyone I’ve grown up with here at Greenfields I still know and love.
Being at a Study Technology school has taught me many life skills that will help me with anything I want to learn. Next year I will be doing my Level 2 in Beauty Therapy and will be able to use the Study Technology that I have learned during the last 8 years.
I’d like to thank my Year Tutor, Business, Literature and Language teacher, Miss Candice. I first met Miss Candice when she taught me History, and she has taught me so much since then. Thank you for pushing me to my greatest potential in every subject you’ve taught me. Without you, I do not know how I would have gotten through my examinations and your lessons have always been fun.
Miss Heather, it has been a great 5 years doing Maths with you. Although I might not be the best at Maths, you have always been so patient and understanding with me.
Miss Isabel, thank you for saving me in Spanish, to help me get through my examinations. You are so caring and friendly, and without you, I couldn’t have done it. Thank you for helping me, and using all your Prep lessons to support me in the month of my examinations.
Miss Bird, although I didn’t take Drama this year, I always had fun in our Drama lessons. GTC has always been amazing because of you. Thank you for being such a loving and helpful teacher this year and helping me get through Film studies.
Miss Jyotsna, thank you for teaching me for the last 7 years all I now know about Science. You have been such an amazing Biology teacher and without you, I could not pass Biology.
Miss Marina, Miss Franca, Miss Charlotte, Miss Tatiana and Miss Kerry – thank you for always being so kind and caring.
Finally, yet importantly, I would like to thank my parents, who were both students at Greenfields, for giving me the same opportunity they had. Thank you for all the support and love you’ve given me. I hope I have made you proud.

I have been boarding in Greenfields since September 2021. It feels just like yesterday that I stumbled through the door of my first-ever dorm with my family behind me carrying all of my bags.
Boarding has been a rollercoaster ride. From the trips to Brighton to the occasional film nights in the lounge, I believe I have made many core memories throughout my time here. It encouraged me to speak up, stand up for what I believe in and to be myself. Thank you Aurelie for being an amazing boarding supervisor, mentor and overall friend.
Throughout my time here, I have had some amazing teachers who not only taught me incredible Spanish and mind-twisting Maths, but also inspired me to be the best version of myself. They challenged me, pushed me out of my comfort zone, and believed in my potential even when I doubted myself. I admire all of them for their dedication. Specifically, I want to say thank you to Miss Isabel for making me fall in love with the Spanish language and culture. Miss Heather, for teaching me that there is always going to be something more to learn in Maths and for being an amazing tutor throughout Year 10. Miss Tatiana for just being such an enthusiastic person who never failed to brighten up my day. And of course, Miss Candice for being the most strong-willed yet funny tutor I’ve had in a long time.
I can’t overlook the role my family played in getting me here. They were the ones who made everything possible and pushed me even when I thought I had nothing left. So, thank you to my parents, siblings, and relatives for your unwavering support.
As I say goodbye to Greenfields, I’m not just saying goodbye to the physical building but also to the incredibly close community I found here. I am leaving behind friends who have become like family, teachers who have become like mentors and memories that will remain etched in my heart.
Leaving this school doesn’t mean it’s the end of my journey. If I know one thing for certain, it’s that life is about to get a whole lot crazier and more fun. I am about to step out into the real world armed with my knowledge and skills and I cannot wait. I’m ready to tackle new challenges, chase my dreams and live my life to the fullest.
Greenfields has taught me a lot more than just how to find misunderstood words or identify barriers to study. It has taught me resilience, teamwork, and the importance of being 100% real. It has taught me to appreciate different perspectives and to stand up for what I believe in. These life lessons will come in handy throughout my life.

My time here at Greenfields has lasted for 4 years and it has been the most diverse 4 years of my life.
I first came to this school in March 2019 and did a 2-week trial and ended up joining boarding in September of the same year.
I came to this school mainly because of Study Technology and as I had been introduced to it in Germany, I found it pretty easy to apply it to all my studies. Knowing the phenomena that comes with the three barriers to study allowed me to flourish in my studies and prosper in my grades.
Miss Isabel, because of you I am now on my way to becoming trilingual. Thank you.
Miss Candice, you are the funniest teacher that has ever taught me and you made studying Business so enjoyable and you have always been willing to help.
To the most helpful Maths teacher I have ever had, thank you Miss Heather for the wonderful lessons that you put so much effort into, but which are still so easy to understand. You have made Maths a very fun subject.
And to the one, whom I value most, I want to say that your way of teaching has been the most successful I have ever experienced, and you make class so entertaining. Thank you Mr. Vlad for being so patient all the time and making Physics my favourite subject of all time. You are so wise and I am sure I am not the only one here who looks up to you!
I am so grateful to my parents for allowing me to be here for the past four years and learn everything I have, to live a successful life.
I will soon leave England and begin a new episode of my life; however, my memories will stay with me forever. I am so thankful to my parents for having made all this possible, I couldn’t thank you enough. When I get back to Germany, I am planning on opening a successful business with my dad and working at my local Church.
Thank you very much.

My family and I moved here about 5 years ago. Coming to Greenfields gave me so much more than I could have imagined.
Study Technology has helped me throughout all of my studies and I know that with this tool I’ll be able to understand, learn and apply whatever I’ll choose to study. As someone who’s always changing her mind about what to do and who to be, this technology gave me the ability to dream and know that I can achieve it.
I came here thinking it was going to be a normal school and oh, I couldn’t have been more wrong. I found a family. A chaotic and beautiful one, but most importantly one that I’m proud to have considered myself part of.
Here at Greenfields, I have had some of the best moments and some of the most unexpected ones. Like, for example, when I, Aurora, won the Sportswoman of the Year Award. No one expected that.
I’ve met some of the most awesome people I know and made memories that I’ll never forget. I would like to thank a few people who made this journey so special.
Mrs. Bird, thank you for always pushing me to achieve my dreams and to express who I am without being ashamed of it. Your classes gave me the confidence to believe in my art and myself. You’ve always been so kind and your class has always felt like a safe space.
Mr. Vlad, thank you for being the most amazing Physics teacher ever. You made Physics reachable and fun. Thank you for being so patient with me, you taught me to question things around me if I felt they weren’t true. You’re an admirable person sir and I’m glad I was in your class.
Mrs. Tatiana, thank you for being such an incredible supervisor and an even better friend. I want to share an incredibly powerful quote from the Study Handbook that Miss Tatiana shared with me and has changed me since.
“THE DEGREE OF COMPLEXITY IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE DEGREE OF NON- CONFRONT”
This single datum helped me solve situations in school, with friends, in relationships and life, and I cannot thank you enough for how much you have done for me.
Finally, to my parents, you are extraordinary and I’m so happy to be your daughter. Thank you for making all of this possible.
Thank you Mr. Smith for keeping the school here.

I’ve been at Greenfields since 2019, starting in Year 8. It has been an amazing journey with many memories that I’ll cherish.
During my two-week trial period, I told my parents that I wanted to stay. Deciding to stay was the right choice. My best memories are here at Greenfields.
With Greenfields, I’ve felt that there is no other place that provides this type of education. I have felt that you can understand what you are studying and you can apply it in the real world. The ethical environment, friends that will last forever, caring teachers and small class groups help you to achieve your maximum potential as a student, which will help you to be the best version of yourself.
Study Technology is TECHNOLOGY that ensures that you have a full conceptual understanding of the subject and learning all the barriers to study helped me in my studies. I’m grateful to have found this technology which will ensure my understanding and my success in life.
I would like to thank the teachers, I would thank you for the countless hours, effort, and dedication that you have poured into our education and development over the past years.
To Miss Heather – you have shown me a creative way of approaching Maths. I can see your efforts and your genuine intention to help make students abler when approaching Maths and that you believed in me and you’ve helped me to achieve my full potential.
Mr. Vlad - I think you are an amazing teacher and I love your passion towards teaching Physics. I enjoyed your lessons and I like the fact that you make them easy to understand even when it is very complex.
To my Year Tutor and Business and English teacher - Miss Candice, I would like to thank you for helping me and showing me my full potential in those subjects.
Next year I’ll be continuing my studies further and will be focusing on business and learning the tools to ensure my future career.
Finally, I would like to thank my parents. You are the best parents anyone could ask for and the success of my graduation is all yours. Thank you for this opportunity and I hope I made you proud.

Greenfields has not only helped me improve as a person but as a student. I have grown and flourished into someone nobody thought I could be. I got grades I thought were impossible and I understood what I was learning.
I made new friends for life and will always remember my amazing teachers.
Miss Heather, I would like to thank you for helping me through my Maths. I have always been terrible at Maths, but with you as a teacher, you made me able to answer questions and confidently tell someone the answer to a Maths equation and you deserve all my thankfulness for that.
Miss Candice, you have been my Form Tutor through Year 11. Sometimes I don’t even see you as a teacher but as a friend – stern, but I’ve always had a laugh with you and whenever I needed something, I would immediately know you would go above and beyond to help me. Thank you miss – for everything.
Miss Maria, my film studies teacher, you have been a great support through GCSEs – such a stressful time – not only in school but in life. You would ensure I had everything I needed to do well. Thank you so much.
With such amazing teachers and students and a wonderful environment, I am so grateful my parents stumbled upon Greenfields while looking for schools. The memories I made here will stay with me for life. Thank you Mum and Dad for bringing me here.
Study Technology is a big part of Greenfields and rightfully so. It has helped me understand my subjects and now I know to never skip a word I don’t know!
I will miss Greenfields. I’ll be visiting to make sure you don’t forget me.

I started this journey 2 years ago, in Year 10.
Thanks to Study Technology, I was able to truly understand what I was studying, really understanding what we were going over during the lessons.
While being here I found some amazing friends, who I hope to have through my life. To sum up, being here was a fantastic experience.
I thank all the staff of Greenfields School. It has been a real pleasure to learn with you all and thanks for all the patience shown to me.
I particularly want to thank Miss Maity, for making Chemistry and Biology exciting. This was only possible because of the effort and love that she put into her job.
What can I say about Miss Heather? I always loved maths. However, she was always able to add that bit of fun to it that made it enjoyable to attend her lessons, where there were always new things to learn.
Then my friends, who always made my adventure fun and nice to experience in all the moments.
I thank the family that I lived with. They supported me through thick and thin.
Then last, but not least, I thank my parents for giving me this possibility.
I am planning to specialise as a jeweller – and for sure, what I learnt from Greenfields will always stay with me. Thank you.

I have been at this school since I was 2 and now I’m 16 and I have finished my GCSEs.
I came here with the Mothers and Toddlers group – I and my beautiful mum Doreen, Isabel and her mum Maria, Sophia and her mum Tatiana.
What a ride it has been. Study Technology has made me view everyday life from a different perspective. It has helped me with my studies. I am able to differentiate between right and wrong and so much more.
Thank you Mum and Dad for providing me with the right school and doing your best to make sure I could have the greatest education possible.
I have made many friends here that I cherish. I am so grateful for the environment this school provides and it really creates another family which you don’t want to leave.
Thank you Miss Maria. If it wasn’t for you, I might not have been so influenced and inspired by Film Studies and Art. You have expanded my creative mind and I am forever grateful for this as this is what I seek to pursue as a career in the future.
Thank you Miss Heather for being such a great Maths teacher and in all such a kind and great person.
Thank you Miss Candice. You have taught me since Year 4 and it has been a rollercoaster ride being your student but you have been one of the greatest teachers I could have asked for.
A big thank you goes out to all the other teachers, thank you.
Last, but not at least, I would like to give a big thank you to my parents for sending me to such a great school and I will never forget it. These past 14 years have been an adventure but finally, it all comes to an end – and I am forever grateful. Goodbye Greenfields.

I first arrived here when I was 11 as my family moved to England for a year. After moving back to Spain, I struggled a lot with my studies, friends and in my relations with the teachers. This is when I realised that Greenfields was one of a kind, so I had to come back.
My experience at this school has been amazing. I was able to learn so many new things thanks to Study Technology. I have been able to learn things and be able to use them in life. This is something I never achieved in my past schools and it is a gift which I am very grateful for and will keep on using for the rest of my life.
Another thing that has contributed to my experience here are the teachers. They are honestly wonderful. They make you feel comfortable and safe around them, they teach you and help you in areas where you need it most without making you feel stupid or invalidated.
I would like to thank all the teachers at this school for all their dedication and passion in what they do, but especially, thank you Miss Jones. You’ve helped me find my passion for photography and this is why I chose to take it as an A.S. subject. I am so thankful for your dedication to teaching and for always helping me achieve the best I can. You have guided me and have helped me grow in this subject.
Miss Ellenberger, you have truly taught me everything I needed to know about Spanish and more. Thank you for being so impeccable with your teaching.
Miss Ruby, you made your lessons fun and exciting despite it being hard to understand present perfect and idioms.
To my tutor, Miss Bird, as soon as I started Drama, you made me feel like I had some potential somewhere in me. And you still do to this day and I am very, very grateful for this, it has helped me with my confidence in general. Thank you.
Miss Candice, I cannot leave this school without thanking you. I have enjoyed Business GCSE more than anything and this was thanks to your way of teaching and your incredible personality. I’m so grateful I was able to be your student.
Thank you to boarding, for allowing me to become more independent and to be able to meet so many new people. I want to thank the supervisors for making boarding feel like a second home.
Mum, and Dad, you always push me to achieve my goals, always give me the best advice and help me become a better person, I am who I am because of you. I love you.

When I first arrived here at Greenfields from Germany around 5 years ago, my English was very basic. I started on the English as a Foreign Language programme (EFL). After about six months I graduated from EFL and I got into class. In the beginning, it wasn’t easy, but I made steady progress as time passed.
I would like to thank all my teachers for having kept me motivated to continue to study and improve my English.
During my past two years of A-level, I felt motivated and I have put a lot of effort into my studies, much more than I have in the past years, this is thanks to the stimulus this school has given me. I have enjoyed my years here at Greenfields.
The subject that I have enjoyed the most is Photography because it is where I can express all my creativity. I want to thank Miss Jones for the good lessons we spent together and for the inspiration she gave me for my work.
A-Level German was not as easy as I expected it to be even though I am a native German, but thanks to Mrs. Michaela, I managed to improve my German to an even higher level, and I am sure that next year in Germany, I will be well prepared for university.
I’ve always enjoyed sports, inside and outside school. This is why I chose to do Sports GCSE as well during the past two years. I want to thank Mr. Douglas for the knowledge he has given me.
As English is not my first language I always had some difficulties. However, over time, I improved my spelling, reading, listening, and speaking and gained a wider vocabulary. Thank you Miss Ruby for your help.
I would also like to thank my Class Tutor, Miss Bird, for keeping me focused on my goals and for helping me reach them.
I would not have been as efficient as I have been without the help of the whole of the Greenfields team, so I would like to thank all the members of this fantastic team and a special thank you to our supportive Principal, Mr. Smith.
Thank you for the nice memories and knowledge you have given me.

I have been a student at Greenfields School for six years and I have just finished studying Maths, Chemistry and Physics A-levels. Since the first day that I enrolled in the school, I felt like the environment was different to all the other schools I had been to. From day one, I felt welcomed by the students and felt like the teachers cared if I did well in my studies.
I believe that’s what makes this school such a valuable experience, the students and the teachers that helped me. So I would like to thank them.
First, I would like to thank the teachers who introduced me to the sciences, Mr. Smith, Miss Maity and Miss Heather. Miss Heather has made Maths one of my favourite subjects. Miss Maity has been one of my teachers since Year 8 and has helped me through my journey in the school. She has made Chemistry one of my favourite subjects and has inspired me to pursue a chemistry career in the future.
I want to thank my A-level Physics and Maths teacher, Mr. Vlad. He has been my Physics teacher through GCSE and A-level and has explained everything perfectly.
Secondly, I want to thank the people who have helped me outside of the field of studies. Miss Bird has been the best Form Tutor I could have asked for. She has the Sixth Form’s best interests at heart and is not afraid to speak on behalf of the class.
I am very grateful for the amazing Student Consultant that we have in the school - Miss Franca.
This school has one of the most unique methods of studying. Study Technology has influenced my education, not only teaching me how to study faster and more efficiently but also helping me retain the knowledge of everything I have learned.
I am very grateful for the friends I have made. I would especially like to thank this year’s and last year’s Sixth Form for being there for me a lot.
Finally, I would like to thank my family for giving me this opportunity and my grandma and sister for helping me get through my studies.

I would like to start by saying thank you. Thank you, for giving me a chance and looking after me all these years. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this community of teachers and students.
I started school by slacking off and getting detention almost every week. This continued as a pattern until I was halfway through Year 10. I finally grew tired of this rhythmic chaos and chose to do something about it. I grabbed my Physics books and went home for the Christmas holiday. I remember going every day to my mother’s workplace to study. I finished half of the book, starting off having previously done only one or two chapters. All of which would not have been possible if I did not have Study Technology under my belt. In this way, I fought against myself to make a change to the role I played in my own story.
This would never have been possible in any other school. This is because the mix of people I have been surrounded by has allowed me to know who I am and picture my future clearly in front of me. I will always hold these people dear to my heart. I will always feel indebted to these people for making me into the man I am today.
When it comes to thanking specific people, I feel that I do not have the heart to limit it to only some. Every single person who has been with me on this journey has played a key role in who I am today, from minor personality development to my independence and decision-making. Couple that with a solid, and most of the time unwavering, personal ethics and I can say that I will not struggle much in the future that I will be creating for myself. Thank you to my teachers, friends, and parents for putting up with my struggle to reach this point and for allowing me to develop into the person I am.
I am aware that one massive cycle of my life is ending.
For the past year or so I have started to define myself as a person who values growth, in all aspects of life. It stemmed from the idea that when something looks unobtainable or unbeatable, how do you overcome it? Well, my answer was, that you should do it by taking one step at a time. One improvement at a time, and when you see something that could be made better, then make it better even if just by a small margin. And in this way when I look back at the times I have lived through, I can look back to it and say that I am proud of myself for the steps I have taken and the people I have met. And with this let me take the next step of my life and thank you, everyone, and I hope you can be proud of the person I am today and the person I dream of becoming.

After graduating from middle school in Japan, I came to Greenfields because, in the future, I was planning to do a job using English, as my mother does.
However, learning a new language and using it in class seemed almost impossible for someone like me – whose Japanese could also benefit from some improvement.
First, I would like to thank Miss Heather. You have taught me GCSE Maths. You never gave up and taught me again and again until I understood fully. Because of your help, I was always exploring in-depth and I had wonderful results in Maths.
I would also like to thank Miss Bird. You were my Class Tutor for three years. You were very understanding of the students’ opinions. You have praised me a lot, which has given me confidence and bravery.
To Miss Michaela, I had GCSE Biology private tutoring with you. It would not have been possible without you to go from not knowing anything at all to completing Year 7 to Year 9 Biology in one year and passing GCSE Biology. Thank you very much.
To Miss Anita, you have taught me English. You pointed out the mistakes I made, no matter how small. Also, you never forgot to encourage me. Thank you very much.
To Miss Jones. You are the best Art teacher I have ever had by far! You were able to read my ideas and advise me on my artwork. Furthermore, you suggested various ways to best communicate what I wanted to express. You were a key reason why I decided to go into Art as a career. I will study Foundation Art at Oxford Brookes University to gain a broader and deeper understanding of it and I will continue to devote my energies to creating artwork without forgetting what I learned from you. Thank you very much for everything you have done for me.
I found a very important treasure in this school for my life – and those are my friends. I have met and made friends with people of all nationalities and races at this school. Thank you for being friends with me and I hope that our friendship will last forever.
And finally, a big thank you goes to my mother. My mother raised me by herself. I do not doubt that I have been able to make it this far because of my mother’s hard work. I cannot thank her enough.
Thank you to the all teachers whom I couldn’t write about here. Without your support, I wouldn’t be here now. Though I have only just started, I will continue to break through all of the obstacles that stand in the way of me achieving my dreams. Thank you!
