I came to Greenfields school 40 years ago with my children as the school uses Study Technology. I had been working in the maintained system but realised that Study technology is unique in that it has uncovered the barriers to study and the ways to handle them. This means that students trained in its application can study successfully any subject of their choice. Discovered and founded by L Ron Hubbard, it is a science that can be tried and tested and proven to work. I have continued to work in Greenfields these past four decades helping to establish the school. From small beginnings, the school has grown rapidly – it had to purchase much larger premises after its first three years in existence. For me, it has been an extraordinary experience to see a school grow so quickly and to be part of it. In my time I have assisted in the formation of curriculum, seen the addition of boarding facilities, helped establish subject departments and the training of teachers, been Head Teacher, and through all of the schools’ Independent Schools Inspections with good results. There is much more, but most pleasing are the acknowledgments of all graduates for the gift of knowing Study Technology and being able to begin their adult life with it. I am extremely glad that I bought my own four children to the school to complete their education, and later, to have my grandchildren here from the beginning of their academic careers until they graduated. From this experience, I know that Study Technology, when taught and applied correctly, can change education for the better, and help those who wish to succeed to achieve greater success in their future accomplishments".
