The Way to Happiness – Application in School

At Greenfields School we utilise the common sense advices contained in a book called ‘The Way to Happiness’ by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard.

The ‘Way to Happiness’ is the first moral code based wholly on common sense. It is in the Guinness Book of Record’s as the world’s single most translated non-religious book in the world and aims to fill the moral vacuum in an increasingly materialistic society, containing 21 basic principles that guide one to a better quality of life.

This term, some of the senior students were asked to make their own display boards based on some of the good advices in the booklet. They enjoyed this project very much and pictured here you can see some their creations which illustrate their understanding of principles 19 and 20 – ‘TRY NOT TO DO THINGS TO OTHERS THAT YOU WOULD NOT LIKE THEM TO DO TO YOU’ and ‘TRY TO TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WANT THEM TO TREAT YOU’   More at: www.thewaytohappiness.org
